Bikes for the family!

My daughter  has hired bikes for a few days while we are on Alderney. As the twins are only just four they are not old enough to have their own bikes or the sort that attach to the back of a bike…and are too big to go in a carrier! So this is the solution that I have never seen before…they sit strapped in behind each other and love it. They love it more than their Dad who finds it quite hard work going up the hills but great fun whizzing down. My daughter is glad she has no passengers.

We have hired a car and ironically the cost of the car hire is exactly the same per day as the cost of hiring the two bikes! 

In the background is Braye Bay, one of the main beaches near the harbour which has good sand for making sand castles .
