This popped up overnight

This caught my eye as I walked round the garden in the early morning sunshine. I know very little about fungi so I haven’t a clue what it’s called but I do think it looks rather attractive. I enjoy coming across the different kinds of fungi that appear at this time of year.

N and I took Bertie over to the community orchard for the first time while we did some work this afternoon. He now has a very dashing streak of bright pink behind his right ear after checking out the quality of our painting on the new benches.
