House guests

It’s been lovely having Emma and her son Louis staying for a couple of nights.  She has edited many of Vikram’s films.   They went off for a long walk today while I worked but we got together for supper. Not in the garden in the end - still too cool - but Vik barbecued corn to go with the chicken that he cooked while I delivered up my Diana Henry boozy cherries.   

The house is made to have people so it’s great to start perfecting our hosting skills - big weekend coming up!
