Wound up in Wexford

More progress on the boundary

I felt a bit "flat" today, after the excitement of having company for the first time in ages - even if that excitement did bring some angst!  After B left to drive home, I spent about 50 minutes on the exercise cycle, and cycled 20 kilometres for the first time.

And I spent some time working on the second rainbow.

W, meanwhile, set to and demolished more than half of the 4 bar fence on this side of the "hedge".  The leylandii hedge was planted by our neighbours, so has been their responsibility to keep trimmed, and now to clear.  The fence was apparently erected by previous residents of this house, when the hedge was still too small to be an effective barrier, to keep their dog in their own garden.  So it is our responsibility - though our neighbours would have cleared it if we hadn't got around to it by the time they want to put up the more substantial fence that is planned.  The metal posts with some green paint are apparently the surveyed boundary.

I took just this one photo all day.
