Wee Hamish

And I do mean wee!  Hamish the Heilan Coo (Highland Cow) is only 4 inches nose to tail.  I decided to try a bit of needle felting yesterday to see if my fingers could manage it and Hamish is the result.  I've ordered more wool so I can make a much bigger one.  I donated some of my felties to the Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village and Tomten Farm and Sanctuary for their August fundraising auctions and they raised over $400.00!  I am thrilled.  The Shaker village raise Heilan Coos so a larger version of Hamish will wind up in next year's auction, I'm sure.  For Wee Hamish, he'll stay next to my computer to remind me of Scotland.
