Bridge 55, Dobsons Bridge

With a car loaded full of cartons ( see yesterday), I visited the Catterall Recycling Centre and was interested to see they also take  those cardboard tubes with metal ends in which you can buy cocoa  and similar.  Then a 10km meander with Cousin Sue along the Lancaster Canal and back through some footpaths.  Blip is her dog Bracken and Bridge 55 on the canal. The only disappointment was the waiting time for a lunch, we tried two pubs and opted not to wait 50 mins for a sandwich.  Instead a takeaway sandwich from Subway, (that was a first) and a bench by the River Wyre.
