Wooshing in Arnside

Some of the Friday morning swimming lot , after our early morning swim in Windemere and breakfast , went for a walk around Arnside Knott.  The sea was very tempting so we daringly swam in the channel. You may think us foolhardy but one of the girls  lives in Arnside and is a coastguard volunteer . She took us to a safe place  for a woosh in the tide.  A woosh because we found we could not swim against the current so we walked up the sand in our cozzies, got in the channel and wooshed back. Then a late lunch in the Bob in Cafe
