Late to the party

I've photographed our agapanthus several times recently, but they've never made the cut, except when they were budding, but not quite in flower on 7th August.  

I did comment on someone else's blip that we didn't seem to have any white agapanthus this year.  But last night, I noticed we have one budding flower.  It is definitely late to the party - most of the agapanthus you can see in this photo are passing their best - the white one that you can see at the bottom of the photo is yet to open.  I hope it makes it before the weather turns too cold.
