Washed up me hearties....

It has been persisting down for the past 36 hours, we may still have a hose-pipe ban.

This field was ploughed, fed and planted two weeks ago. Last night the ethereal being arranged for the deluge to wash away a huge area of the crop (possibly potatoes) and deposit the stones in the soil onto the side of the flow.

There's nothing that can be done in conditions such as these, machines cannot get on the land, the soil has gone and we apes are as puny as daisies in a lawn by comparison with nature's power.

The SAR cab went over at 1000 so somebody has had a bad start to their day. Take great care if you are venturing out this weekend.
