Aberdovey
Evening sunshine as Ruth and I entered the final stage of an epic journey from Birmingham. The extra pic, as I left home 11 hours earlier, captures the morning sunshine. The Welsh part of the journey was fine in both directions, the holiday traffic making little difference. The bit on the M6 for a dozen or so miles each way plus picking Ruth up from the city, a couple of miles off the motorway, took four hours :-( Largely due to accidents on the motorway but in an almost comical twist, a funeral cortege completely blocked the only entrance to Ruth's road when I arrived causing traffic chaos nearby!
We made it in the end, happy to be back from the grimy, grey sky metropolis to our little bit of paradise in the sunshine.
A guest blip as Ruth snapped this shot at my request as we drove along.
