A day of different things

She got up at 5:00 and settled back down again. I got up at 7:30.

Just the two of us till 12:00. I went out to get Toby so he could spend some time getting to know the pesky hound before she’s bigger than him!
It was lovely to have him but every moment was spent negotiating between the two. Therefore I have no photos of them.
Scout just wants to play and being a baby mouths everything. Toby just wants me for himself!

At one point Scout fell asleep under the rocking chair I was sitting on and Toby fell asleep on my lap. I crocheted!
Later on after a bit of a hard time between them Scout fell asleep between my legs as I sat on the floor and Toby sat leaning against my leg as I massaged them both! That lasted about half a hour!

Peter came for Toby at 7:30. And as we sat dow to eat Scout curled up on the floor by my chair and fell asleep. This was an encouraging sign!

Today work on the school’s extension started. Really surprised that they have waited till the last week of the holidays before they start work.
