Kidnapped

Had my car out for its first annual service. It has done only 1,600 miles in a year!

On the way back home by bus I changed routes at Western Corner on the edge of Murrayfield and Corstorphine.

Nearby is this statue of Allan Breck Stewart and David Balfour - two key characters in the story. It was unveiled by Sir Sean Connery in 2004. It is located close to the spot in the story where they parted.

What started out as a grey day turned into a great sunny one though the bypass on the way back from the garage was just like pre-Covid times: very slow!
