Birthday celebrations

It is our son's 24th birthday today so I thought he'd better be my main blip even though I had lots to choose from!
My husband and I spent the day at Mount Stewart, a large house and gardens which are now owned by the National Trust. We went into the house first and then walked round the whole estate. The formal gardens were beautiful and the perfume in the rose garden was glorious. For some reason there was an area with lots of stone statues called the Dodo Terrace.
In the evening we went out for a meal and then came home for birthday cake.
