I've been watching a series on UTube called Mudpies.  It's about a father and daughter who go digging on the banks of the Thames estuary and pull out old bottles and pots.  It's a simple series but fascinating if like us you'd done a bit yourselves.

That set me off having a rake around the garage to find my old boxes of Victorian bottles.  This is the first chest I found.  Now I'm itching all over and sneezing so I've called it a day!  These bottles were mainly dug up from old County Durham with a couple from Cumberland and one from Cowdenbeath - dug out of the embankment at a stock car track during the race in 1980's.
