EMPTY NEST

Been a week now since my baby left the nest…we now have a very echoey
bedroom:(((( very strange.

Today the Rev asked me to phone parents who had suffered a baby loss to an annual butterfly service…not the easiest job! One mum got upset as it was the anniversary of her baby’s death, another said it wasn’t a miscarriage but a stillborn (so that was awkward) and another we had the wrong mum’s name for but the dad’s name was correct so I was worried I come across an affair situation!!! Most were very appreciative of the call.
Then onto Barbara’s for a chat about Christmas tree festival plans.
Fish and chip supper…all good.
