Bric a Brac and Fudge

Fudge is the small Jack Russell at Sara's feet. Sara is clutching her Ming dynasty vase bought for £4 from our local Bric a Brac shop. The owner fills her time between customers painting and her artwork is also for sale. She is always accompanied by her faithful Fudge.

We were on our way to the Farmers' Market in Haverfordwest, where I was determined to buy fudge from a new stall, Oh Sugarplum!, to take to my Aunt in Dublin next week. Oh Sugarplum! had presumably looked at the weather and decided to stay in bed....

Another foul weather day, so time for browsing the papers, doing the puzzles, baking bread and playing the clarinet and saxophone. The dogs got a brief scamper in the fields behind Sara's cottage, but were glad to be indoors for most of the day.
