Heron

Sat in front of the television all afternoon hoping to see the Belgian Grand Prix from Spa.  Continuous  rain - all afternoon - really heavy stuff - too dangerous to race.  After a lot of waiting to see if the weather improved the race was eventually called off.
This made me short of a Blip - so here is one of a Heron taking off from a weir on the River Hebden, below Maison MD.
Painted by a friend of mine - it is much treasured.
