Secluded beach number 2

Now I know what I'm doing and the wind had dropped ventured out much further, with a decent paddle I would have gone to polkerris but stopped at polridmouth cove and found myself my own private beach this one was even better than the last. Donned the wet suit and went for a lovely swim avoiding the jelly fish. It was perfect just me in the water. 

After returning we took the ferry from fowey to bodinnick and I got to see Ferryside (now owned by du mauriers son) close to the start of the Hall walk. Up a steep climb and then down into pont pill and a tributary of the fowey estuary. Then back up to Polruan and our ferry ride home. 

Packed and left a good time had by all, really was top kayaking my best in ages, my back was hoping for the longer paddle!
