Snow blowing

A day of cancellations due to the weather. Cancelled lunch with friends as the roads were blocked between here and there and though she kindly offered to ferry us to her place in her truck, Arwen isn't 100% today, so I didn't want to take her out. This afternoon Grace didn't make it to her swimming lesson either. We set off and the main road was mostly black but patches were blocking very quickly with blowing snow. Wasn't worth the risk so we turned back. Grace was upset. I asked if she wanted to get stuck and spend all night in the car? She in her five year old wisdom reprimanded me for not knowing the number for Green Flag motor rescue...
