Devil’s Club

It has nasty spines that can cause infection. The berries are considered poisonous to humans, but a delight to the bears.
The night at the lake was beautiful, but cold. None of us slept well. In the morning we hiked out, made a pit stop at Benjamin’s, then proceeded north of Anchorage to an Airbnb. Did a short hike to waterfalls; the blip is along the trail there. Hoping to see Northern lights tonight.
