Bearded Vulture

What a treat, to see this, the biggest bird in the Alps with a 3m wingspan, flying towards us. We had just been treated to a close encounter with a big, fat, marmot (extra). An overnight stay in the little hut at Anzeindaz (extra) again, it was freezing with a north wind and low cloud outside but inside it was lovely and cosy.
