First Beach Day!!!

Almost the end of August and we managed to get our first beach day!!  That is just too crazy, gotta change that next year!   Terry and I drove over to Inverness beach, had a lovely lunch of fish and chips - and a beer....and then onto the beach.   We decided to walk the beach first, before we plonked ourselves down for the afternoon!   It's a long beach and so we had a fabulous 1 1/2 hour walk, over 6 kms....and then i got to plunge into the ocean...oh it was awesome.

It was pretty busy, but we found a nice quiet spot....then Terry spotted this couple (see first extra) who seemed to be standing still in the same spot, but just rotating themselves every 4-5 minutes!  It was so funny to watch them i just had to take a shot!!!   We figured they were just very committed to getting an even, all over tan!   They stayed like this for about 1/2 hour!!! 

And of course a day at the beach has to include a glass of wine, some cheese and crackers..Terry is holding my wine cup while i take some images.    Our little wine cups are too short to fit into the cup holders on our chairs....so i've decided to make some myself, custom fit for the chairs, might be a good seller!

We got home late, and rather tired, but very well satisfied!
