Sarnersee

The rest of the family were busy all day, and I felt like a day out, the forecast was not good, but better for longer in the south. I got on the next train to Luzern, making a plan on the way! The mountains were clouded in, so a lake walk looked a better option, and I’ve never walked along Sarnersee.
It was very busy in Sarnen, a flea market was underway through all of the old town, so I headed straight to the lake path. It was about 10km to Giswil, it stayed fine all the way, and not too many people walking, quite peaceful. Very few out boating, and nobody out swimming, or paddle boarding, very different to Zurisee or Vierwaldstättersee.
