Madonna

After a fantastic breakfast all together, we set out on a hike up to the Madonna up on the hill behind. It was really beautiful up an extremely old rocky pilgrims way, through vineyards and olive groves. It was pretty hot going up, but we were rewarded with fabulous views over Lago di Garda. After the walk we had a rest at the campsite, under the shade of a very old olive tree, then went to hang out at the lake, swimming, sunbathing and paddling boarding, and sharing a couple of delicious pizzas. We had another walk around the town, then went to a restaurant together for dinner on our last night.
