Over promised, under delivered

Bank holiday weather!

The weather app had forecast better weather but it didn’t materialise and it was cold! We had thought about going to the Edenbridge and Oxted (agricultural) show but the weather and the price put me off.

We pottered in the morning (mostly getting angry with the computer for the abysmally slow internet speed). Trying to do stuff on line and spending ages looking at ‘the donut of doom’……

We decided to visit a NT property for a few hours so drove to Sissinghurst. Small glitch as OH had mislaid my ticket when he took MIL away last week. However computer records over came that. The garden looked good in parts although the new dry garden replicating Harold and Vita’s visit to Egypt didn’t excite me. Tea and an obligatory slice of cake before heading home for dinner, scrabble (he won) and Netflix.
