Joint effort!

Took a break from creating more garden waste this afternoon and re-pointed the garage wall.

My husband mixed the mortar and I stuck it in (I’ve put an ‘after’ picture in the extras). 

Believe it or not, I have had extensive experience of pointing but, thankfully, the garage is so old that we can kid ourselves that my shoddy workmanship this time simply adds to its rustic charm!
