My special desk

I've always loved writing desks and for my 70th birthday (already a few years ago!) my children gave me this lovely desk. Daughter Penni found it in Cape Town, and what makes it more special is that it belonged to a de Villiers family(my maiden name), many of whom were wine farmers in the Cape.
It has been so windy today, hence an indoor blip.
A routine visit to the dermatologist today, with the usual lecture about taking more care in the sun, and more spots on my face and hands being burnt with liquid nitrogen... ouchy!!
I must remember hat and sunblock.
