Cactus Flower

One of my cacti had 3 of these spectacular flowers today. I had other photos I liked better, but I suspect this is it for this particular cactus this year. They may open again tomorrow, but I didn't feel like taking a chance that this might be it for the year. This is a happy time of year waiting for all the blooms to happen.

Cactus blooms are always spectacular and so beautiful that they don't look real. They just take my breath away.

Today I give thanks for the day I was given, that I stopped to check out what was blooming, the beauty of flowers in many types and interesting things to read.
