Autumn Harvest

Well it is now officially the first day of Autumn according to the Met people so a trip to our Allotment to harvest more stuff.  Today I dug up or picked, runner beans, carrots, Beetroot and I salvaged Sweetcorn.  Most of the cobs have been ravaged by an unknown beastie and I reckon we have lost 7 or 8 of them.  As I only had 9 plants that is a fair percentage of the crop. I have picked 7 so far so not a bad return.  Never mind, at least they were not stolen by Allotment thieves!
