Tewkesbury

We went to Tewkesbury today.  Our aim was to rake a boat trip before meeting friends.  Unfortunately the boat only took twelve people and we were too far back in the queue.   Still we had our packed lunch and took a nice riverside walk.

Later we met our friends, Pam and Paul, whom we haven't seen since January 2019, thanks Blip.  The rendezvous was the Riverside Cafe where they serve exceedingly good coffee.  It was lovely to meet up again and catch up with children and grandchildren news from across the world (Pam's son is in Vietnam, her daughter New Zealand).

As we were walking back to the Abbey car park I shot this street scene. I guess I could tag it for Wide Wednesday, hosted by RockArea, the only modern bit of the picture being the leading yellow lines.
