Dancing on a dark day

It was dark today! and sodden. The rain was downright torrential at times. The Leesburg Airport reported 4.7 inches today, and we're still under a flash flood watch. No power outages, thankfully. There were tornado warnings to the east, and north of here up into New England is getting drenched now. Last night the leading edge of the storm came through with lots of flickering lightening and thunder. The edge leaving us now is tossing the tree canopies and these sunflowers out in the garden. It's pitch black out now, though.

D. worked the closing shift at Panera after school - a long day. I picked him up a little over an hour ago and he drove us home. Happy Friday everyone! (oh wait...)
