Bye bye Trev

Trev the Prev has been our 8-seater family car for 14.5 years and we’ve done so much with Trev.

We said goodbye to Trev today, our 21 year old Previa. In part exchange for a newer car, he fetched the almighty sum of £200.

The kids are reminiscing nicely about holidays and school runs and campaigns and teasing us about it’s lack of CD player, air conditioning, heating, and comfort.

It feels like a family member has left us. I’m just grateful for its dependability and space and lack of pretentiousness. Weirdly though, it was recognised all over the borough.

It is also NoaNoa’s year 11 Prom tonight, delayed for obvious reasons.
