Early Morning Sunshine

This photo was taken at the cottage shortly after the sun came up this morning.     

The last couple days really felt like autumn had arrived.   It was cooler but sunny with the wind coming from the north and very warm in any sunny sheltered area. 

Today felt like an October day - not just cool, but cold.   I put on a fleece jacket and warm socks as soon as I got up this morning - it was just as cold inside the cottage as outside!  The clouds soon arrived - no rain,  just overcast and dreary.   A good day to stay in and read a good book or watch a movie.    So we turned on the heat and just relaxed inside today.
