Sea rescue
Blipped is the sea rescue outfit - last week the ferry behind crashed into an island in the sea...crazy crazy. It's been in our local news constantly. Anyway today we were wandering the Port and saw the ferry (the front is very low in the water) and the rescue boat.
An unexpected and lovely day, spent mainly with Claire! Danny was on standby to go spend time with a guy who has just recently tried to end his life and wanted someone to talk and pray with. So an odd day, but a good one. Danny had a few hours with the guy and Stephen...and the kids and I saw Claire. We ended up visiting the Casa Broner which was the house of German artist and architect, Erwin Broner. An absolutely gorgeous place set in Sa Penya (so we saw and nattered to quite a lot of Roma gypsies we do know up there... including Sole). Then back down into town for ice cream and pottering. The kids loved it all.
I've added an extra of Asha as she just looked so lovely as we waited to meet Claire.
Today I'm grateful for;
1) D&S meeting this guy.
2) Finally going to Casa Broner. Each child's interests were so funny - Nate loved knowing things like 'did he use concrete to build it?' Whereas Asha loved his art studio downstairs.
3) Seeing Sole.
