Belated…
Mother’s Day and 70th birthday luncheon. Sunny and mild all day. Hubby left home before I got up to take my mother to appointments today. He grabbed his meds on the way. They went to the bank and were unsuccessful at her branch and with those they spoke with on the phone afterwards (wherever they were.). They picked up my mother’s meds and then Hubby brought Momma to our house for a cup of coffee to settle her nerves before her medical test. She will get results in a few days. We met my sister and BIL for lunch. We’d tried several times to take our mother out to celebrate Mother’s Day but things never worked out. Plus, my sister and BIL wanted to take hubby out for his birthday. Finally, everyone was available and we were all happy with the visit. It is nice to take the time to value folks. And the food was very good. I went grocery shopping, Hubby took our mother to another branch of her bank and my sister and BIL went shopping in a different direction. Hubby reported the lady they saw was able to straighten out the banking issue in about 15 minutes. They headed back to Ridge. Thank you, Lord. We may not need dinner so tonight should be easy. Thanks for visiting, leaving stars and kind words. “Life is made up not of great sacrifices or duties, but of little things, in which smiles and kindness and small obligations given habitually, are what preserve the heart and secure comfort”. - William Davy.
