Cascading Fall Clematis

We had an easy day. I worked in the garden for maybe an hour. Hubby caught up on reading. We met my sister and BIL to finally deliver a thank you gift to the lady who took care of all the admin stuff during our trip. She was surprised and pleased. We all went to visit our mother, taking her a pastry and iced coffee she really likes. We invited her to a dinner theater in PA in November. We’ll spend the night and shop a bit. Our mother sounded excited so hubby made our reservations. We found a nice pet friendly hotel so that task is behind us. Our mother has this fall clematis vine that covers a large part of her spring bulb garden with thousands of delicate white flowers. The bees were having a feast. My photo only gives you a small glimpse of the plant. On the way home, I picked up a few sale items at the grocery store while hubby filled my gas tank. We dropped his truck at the shop to have his tires rotated and his mirror repaired. They called and said his tires are showing sun damage; he’s ordering four new ones. And that was it. We have another meal from my DIL for dinner-no work required. Guess we are starting our holiday weekend very rested. May you find restful moments this weekend as well. Thanks for visiting. Stay safe. “The flower doesn't dream of the bee. It blossoms and the bee comes.” — Mark Nepo
