Orchids

Last year a neighbour gave me an orchid plant, after it had bloomed and lost all its flowers I neglected the poor plant. Much to my surprise it started to grow new shoots, so I started watering it, low and behold it has produced new flowers, this one started opening yesterday.

I'm off to London tonight, visiting my lovely son and his wife. We are going to the Natural History museum on Friday night to view the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, brilliant photographs. Then a bit of retail therapy, weather forecast is not good so the umbrella is getting packed.
