Really is cakes, cakes, cakes today!

Well the power stayed on: which was nice! Another bitingly cold day and its been snowing all morning but we have no snow lying; suppose we're maybe lucky as some places seem to be having lots of disruption.
Quick dog walk done though I think they might be expecting another later; will see just how wild it is and then decide.
Coffee Morning and Easter Egg hunt in the village hall today. Lots of delicious cakes on offer as you can see! It's run by the local primary school PTA and even though both our boys have left for High School it's nice to support it. A good chance for a bit of a blether and it was nice that L and S joined myself and Mr Cakes for a drink and some homebaking - poor boys hardly ever see homemade cakes do they, lol!
Heading out later for dinner with the 'girls'; two February birthdays to celebrate. Just a little bit late!
