New statistics today on our Covid-19 situation - there’s been a sad death of a woman in her 90s, due to CV19 plus underlying conditions. On the plus side, the new daily case number is down to 20. We’re almost holding our collective breath waiting to see if that downward trend will continue. There are still several people in ICU, including a young man.

There’s been a huge amount of coverage following the horrific stabbing at the NewLynn supermarket yesterday. Apparently the perpetrator was a lone wolf who had strong ISIS leanings, and had recently been released from prison, after 3 years. He was well known to police. The Govt etc including the Opposition are wanting to tighten our terrorist laws, under urgency.
