DAY OF CULTURE

Today I went with half of the quaranteenies team up to London. The train going up was fine…I was very hesitant about using the underground so we went on the bus and it was much nicer.
We had a lovely visit to Kensington Palace….

#the main reason for the visit was to see Princess Diana’s wedding dress.
#we had planned a meal after our visit but we all ready for a cuppa so we decided to have a posh afternoon tea in the Pavilion. It was rather scrummy:))) ….

#the sunken gardens where Diana used to spend time was beautiful.
# the most exciting part was seeing not 1 but 2 princesses and their husbands and children and they smiled at us whilst we enjoyed our afternoon tea.
They 40 min walk back through the park to the station was really nice but the train home was jammed packed and we were really glad to get off.
A very enjoyable day…15,000 steps done too.
