After all the excitement of yesterday

Here’s just a flower in my front garden this afternoon - it’s a caryopteris, and I’m very fond of it as it flowers late, and lasts well into autumn.  Also it’s a beautiful blue I think. My phone is doing that naughty thing of making it look more purply than it is. 
I’ve spent the whole day listening to the radio.  Firstly Clarke Peters ‘Black Music in Europe’ which is fantastic, then the Reunion - about the Mangrove Nine which made me want to watch Steve McQueen’s ‘Mangrove’ again.  Then I listened to test match special for a while. India batting successfully this afternoon.
