It’s about that time…. brambling and ironing the school uniform. Eve’s heart is heavy, she hates the holidays ending. Zeke is ridiculously excited to get back to a classroom full of friends. I never like it when they go back but I’ll console myself with some more brambling with Isaac (who eats almost everything he gathers).

Gratefuls:

1. Roast dinner;
2. The school holidays having been fun;
3. Eve’s ability to communicate her apprehension about school and her courage.
