British homegrown edaname
The main advantage of growing your own food is being able to eat things you can't get hold of easily in the shops.
I love edaname but I hate buying edaname that are flown in from China and come wrapped in plastic. And in the UK they're the only ones you get.
So this has been a little experiment, and admittedly not the best year for a bean experiment with the weather we've had most summer.
Hence my excitement when I saw the first pods forming on the plants. I'll most certainly try again next year.
