Fiery Dahlia

When the gardeners tackle the dahlia bed in Pollok Park the small plants are staked and well spaced out but by the time the plants fully grown and in flower the whole area looks a bit like an untamed jungle.

Back enjoying a brief spell of tee shirt weather as the temperature creeps up again ….. don’t think it’s going to last too long though.

Patchwork class tonight. It’s that time of year when you leave the house in broad daylight and return home when it’s dark. Perhaps I’ll catch a glimpse of a sunset while I’m out.
