Emsworthy

I decided to go up to the moor this afternoon. I thought the heather might be looking good. It was but there weren't the swathes of colour I thought I might see. I walked round the old barn and took some photos.After that then up the rocks to the hawthorn. I hadn't intended to blip it but ... somehow it seems to make such a good image every time. I've added an extra of the heather with Saddle Tor behind. 

It's been a lovely day and even though it's been blowing a hoolie all afternoon it's been very warm. I think this is the end of the good weather, it'll be rain and thunderstorms tomorrow.
