Purple loosestrife and geese
Lovely weather today. Tim set off in fog on his bike this morning, but it soon cleared, and the sun was out by the time he got back an hour or so later. Had a pretty good work day - most of my colleagues are in Manchester for our annual conference, so it was fairly quiet on email, which was nice. Can they stay there a bit longer?
Walked up to Blackheath village with Tim this evening, as he had a final appointment with the cardiac consultant (who has now discharged him, hooray!) - and I carried on for a nice walk up to and around the heath. Still feeling pretty knackered, but the sunshine definitely helped me to keep going. Lots of prettiness at both the Hare and Billet pond (moorhens and their babies) and the Prince of Wales pond (the resident terrapin, many feathers, the purple loosestrife and the geese), so I ended up taking lots of photos.
