Islay in the rushes
P called in for an early (for me) coffee after her morning swim and we exchanged neighbourly gossip. We both had separate plans for 9.30; the dog walker is on holiday in the Borders so I wheeled Liv while L took Islay dog who has developed some anti dog habits to the extent that she is to have a session with a dog coach. I couldn’t possibly comment. Anyway we had a very pleasant walk to Maxwell Park where Islay availed herself of the duck pond.
Home for a snack and then yoga which I almost cancelled feeling a bit inert. Unexpectedly it was a restorative, albeit challenging, session which included a twisted camel.
Trip to the QE in my yoga kit and back home before the rush hour.
Very much looking forward to a solo hill walk tomorrow, the last day of the summer weather, at least for a while. And a chance to embed my navigation skills, although I have no intention of veering from the “tourist path”.
