Morning preening

We went for our early morning walk with our grandson again today.  The weather was perfect hot with a slight coolish breeze.  It was fairly clear by the beach and many more people were out than yesterday.  Quite a lot of swimming was taking place and I spotted these three seagulls preening themselves in the sun.  Our grandson has his play in the playground before we headed back home.

Its certainly been a very hot day.  My husband and I had planned on going to my cousins husbands funeral today but it was rearranged to a much smaller size for Covid reasons and we were able to watch it online. It was rather sad as he was thought to be recovering from his chemotherapy treatment and was very sudden.

It was a nature group camera club meeting tonight which was very enjoyable. This unusually hot weather is due to break tomorrow for awhile so we may get some rain.
