Drat you Bank of Scotland!

I ended the afternoon feeling disgruntled, going on downright cross. I spent the best part of the afternoon filling in bank forms for my Rotary club's account. Nothing has changed in several years, but the bank decided all the information about signatories, club constitution, sources of income, etc. had to be resubmitted. The forms are inconsistent; each person has to sign in multiple places; and I'm not sure I've done it right. To make it worse, I went through the whole process last year for our charity account.

In 2010 they lost £300M on a casino in Las Vegas. Now they have decided the real risk is that they might have signatories on club accounts whose appointments haven't been formally minuted!

And the strange cover over the cash machines? That's to stop bits of the building falling on customers. It's been left like that, unrepaired, for months.
