Easter Dress

You'll see the full dress in all its Eastery glory over the Easter weekend at some pont, but it arrived today and Katie wouldnt wait to try it on. She has this one, and a beautiful one on the way from my best friend in Australia. Which I'm reallly hoping makes it in time. It's being brought on an airplane then posted here in the UK, so fingers crossed!

It had snowed a bit overnight and then started snowing when we got up (which was at nearly 6 am after another 14 hour sleep from Katie). With her still not being spot on, I wasnt happy to walk to the station, train, walk to ballet and reverse on the way home. A kind friend suggested so Katie didnt miss out that we go with them to her ballet class and she'd drive us. I really liked the class in terms of Katie's current age. It better met what I wanted from a ballet class at this age for her. However, Katie's ballet school long term is better. And she loves it. But she wont move up into the equivalent class for her until September and its much further to go. So I'm a bit torn now as to what to do! She had fun today though and I was very glad that she got to dance as it turned out swimming was cancelled.

We spent a bit of time sorting out her swimming lessons. She is being moved up again at the end of this block of lessons and her friend's mum & I have jointly decided they're not staying with the current teacher. So she's down for a different teacher. It'll mean back-t0-back swimming then ballet on a Saturday but gives us back our Saturday afternoons/ability to go away for a weekend. If she stays at the current ballet, she'll have to go to an earlier still swimming class so I need to work it all out!

We had a nice afternoon pottering at home. Lots of playing. Katie was on an eating mission from the moment she got in from ballet. We just stayed in and enjoyed being together. She put her jammies straight on when we got back and spent the afternoon in them until the post arrived. She was pleased as the postman also brought some work things for mummy - little nappy covers and hats. Some of them werent right so she got some hats for her dolls and the seller had put in 5 pairs of brand new tiny baby socks which I gave her too. It's the little things when you're 3!

We snuggled down on the sofa together about 4 to watch a Disney film. She fell asleep not much after 430, I prob made it to 5 and woke up just as it ended. She's tucked up in bed.
